Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. Gamekeeper. Twice as tall as normal man and at least five times as wide. Long tangles of bushy black hair and beard. Black eyes. Loves dangerous beasts. Was at Hogwarts but got expelled at his third year. Had an oak wand; 16 inches, rather bondy (snapped in half when he got expelled; now part of his pink umbrella). Has a black boarhound called Fang.

Three-headed dog. Very dangerous. But play him some music and he will go straight off to sleep.

Norbert

Norwegian Ridgeback. A dragon.

Fang

Black boarhound. Quite a coward.

Centaur (live in the Forbidden Forest)

Ronan

Half man/half horse. To the waist a man, with red hair and beard. Below the waist a horse's gleaming chestnut body with a long reddish tail.

Bane

Black-haired and -bodied and wilder looking than Ronan.

Firenze

White-blonde hair and a palomino body. Blue eyes.
