- Mad, old lady; lives two streets away from Privet Drive; had lots of cats (Tribbles, Snowy, Mr. Paws, Tufty); Took Harry on special occasions. Her house smells of cabbage.
- Nicolas Flamel
- Was working with Dumbledore on alchemy. The only known maker of the Sorcerer's Stone. Alchemist and opera lover. Approx. 665 years old. Married to Perenelle Flamel (658 years old). Lives in Devon.
- Sirius Black
- Hagrid borrowed his motorcycle.
- Dadelus Diggle
- Tiny man in a violet top hat. Lives in Kent.
- Madam Malkin
- Owner of Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. Squat witch dressed all in mauve.
- Mr. Ollivander
- Owner of Ollivanders. Old. Silvery eyes.
- Hog's Head
- Pub down the village. Where Hagrid met the stranger and "won" the dragon egg.
- Ministry of Magic
- Make sure Muggles don't know about wizards. Cornelius Fudge is Minister.
